Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of the StartupSEO publishing platform by Readers, Publishers and Organizations. By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to the linked Privacy Policy and Publisher KYC Policy.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By registering for or using StartupSEO, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Collection Notice and, if you register as a Publisher, the Publisher KYC Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the platform.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your email and WhatsApp mobile number current, since both are used for account verification and important account notices. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential. One person or organization may not hold multiple accounts to evade verification, quota or screening controls.
3. Reader and Publisher profiles
A Reader account can read, explore and follow content. A Publisher account additionally requires identity review (and, where an organization is added, business/entity review) before publishing access is granted, and remains subject to the one-submission-per-calendar-day scheduling window described in your Author Dashboard.
4. Your content & editorial responsibility
You retain ownership of the articles and media you submit. By publishing on StartupSEO you grant StartupSEO a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, distribute and index that content as part of operating the platform (including syndication to search engines and AI-assisted discovery systems). You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and originality of what you publish, including that you have the right to publish any third-party material, images or quotations you include.
5. Verification & the Verified Author mark
The Verified Author badge reflects that StartupSEO has reviewed the identity, business/organization and (where supplied) LinkedIn information associated with that Publisher account at the time of approval. It is not a guarantee of the accuracy of any specific article, and StartupSEO may suspend or remove the badge if review status changes or platform rules are violated.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not publish unlawful, defamatory, infringing, deceptive or fraudulent content; misrepresent your identity or organization; attempt to bypass verification, screening or publishing-quota controls; scrape, resell or misuse other users’ data; or interfere with the platform’s security, availability or integrity.
7. Contextual & external links
Articles may include a limited number of contextual links to your own target website and to external sources. StartupSEO screens these links for relevance and safety before publication and may remove or reject links that fail that review.
8. Content removal & account actions
StartupSEO may unpublish content, suspend or reject a Publisher application, or suspend, restrict or delete an account that violates these Terms, fails verification, or is required by law, without that action constituting a waiver of any other remedy.
9. Intellectual property
The StartupSEO name, logo and platform software are the property of StartupSEO and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers that intellectual property to you beyond the limited right to use the platform as intended.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
StartupSEO is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Published articles reflect the views of their individual authors, not of StartupSEO. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StartupSEO is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on published content.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, unless a mandatory local law provides otherwise for your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
StartupSEO may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page; continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to neotia.hiten@gmail.com or through the Contact page. For privacy, KYC and other compliance documents, see the Compliance Center.
Effective date: 14 September 2026. Implementation note: This page is a platform implementation baseline, not a legal opinion. StartupSEO should validate it with qualified counsel and update it for its actual business model, jurisdictions and obligations before relying on it as a final legal document.
